Maybe you want to try a bold, new color or you’d like to see how you look in long, beach waves while protecting your natural hair, a weave would allow you to live your wildest hair dreams. We’ve compiled a list of weave brands that many of our clients praise.
Please note that there are so many brands out there that we can’t limit you to what you find below. Some brands have multiple lines to offer customers products at different price points. We recommend that you do a good amount of research to find what’s right for you.
Also, keep in mind that the price of a weave matches its quality, i.e., 100% human hair will differ from blended hair (mastermix) with synthetic fibers, which affects the flexibility, luster, and longevity of the hair. Prior to purchasing any weave, consider how long you plan on maintaining the hair style and if you plan on reusing the hair.
Low-grade weaves are the most economical options you’ll find in the market. This type of hair will last at most four (4) weeks with proper and meticulous care. These brands are almost always made with synthetic hair fibers and are not reusable.
Mid-grade weaves will help you get the style that you want at an affordable price that won’t break the bank. This type of hair is one-time use made with blended hair fibers that combine synthetic and human hair fibers. With proper care, your style can last between 4 and 8 weeks.
High-grade weaves are top-notch options for those who prioritize durability and longevity in their weaving styles. The hair in this category has thick human hair fibers enabling multiple use of the weaves for repeat styling. While you’ll also spend quite a bit more on these weaves, it can prove to be worth it depending on your styling preferences.
